Ugh, where do I start? I bought this watch because I love big watches that have a date display; unfortunately this is not the watch for me. 1) The glass (crystal) has a checkerboard cut on it distorting the date; it cannot be read. 2) The background appears to have divots in it. Combing that with the checkerboard cut on the glass makes it look like a golf ball tied to my wrist. Not pretty at all. 3) The gold tone metal looks as if it was painted on. In other words.....cheap. 4) The band is leather; however it also has a checkerboard cut to it making it look rough...like fish skin. Due to all this, and the price I am returning this watch. If those things don't bother you, you may love it. I hope my observations help you.The watch is a bit chunky for my wrist, but I have small hands/wrist.In overall, it's a nice watch and the strap gives it a nice color burst to any outfit.Good quality, that's the reason why I didn't return it even though it's quite big on me.When I first saw this I thought wow, and they are good in real but not wow! the only thing that is off about it is the silver dial, it looks somewhat cheap or of a lesser quality than the rest of the watch and that is sad as it could have been a perfect watch if they made it with a more decent metal.The watch is very pretty but definitely on the large size. If you want a showy piece this is the one!!When we received the watch, my wife noticed that the leather was scraped.That was very unfortunate..I like buying by this method.Have had this watch a few years, and is very unique. For that reason I give it 5 stars, you'll never find another quite like it.can wear with suite and with jeans, high quality and laconic look. For that price (bought on sale) - best purchase ever. love it!goodthis is a beautiful watch! so excited when it came...but it did not work! am hoping it is the battery. Pretty disappointed that an expensive watch would come with a dead battery (again hoping that is all that it is!)Nice Watch
