Lasts Til Sunrise: Leave the solar deck lights in the sun to charge. They start working at dusk when the environment goes dark. Only 4 hours in strong direct sunlight can fuel max 30 hours of illumination.
Every Step is Clear: 12 LEDs housed in the frosted black frame emits 6000K cool white light at 360 lumens, visible from over 875 yards away. Keep your way bright and safe throughout the night.
IP68 Wet Rated: The fully-sealed body protects essential components from damage by water infiltration and keeps the solar pathway lights strong through rain, snow, frost, storms, flood, high tide, or even submersion for a short period of time sporadically.
Rugged Construction: Built to withstand up to 20 tons of load by a car or even a truck. Crafted from rust-resistant, non-fading aluminum alloy, the solar LED dock lights remain sturdy outside for years onward.
Shine Right Away: Upon unboxing, trigger on simply by tapping the power button and covering the solar panel. Get everything set up in minutes with included mounting screws and anchors. Or make it simpler, attach with glue (not included).
I installed these on a new dock build about a month ago and have been pleased with them. We got a huge rain and I was off on my measurements on the projected water level for the ramp. As you can see in the pic. These lights were fully submerged for a couple of days before I was able to fix the ramp. I figured these lights were fried and was about to order some new ones. But I was wrong. That night they all came on as usual and they have been all working great for the last two weeks after that flood event. I even used a flashlight to look inside the lights and could not see any moisture inside of them. I am very pleased so far.We do a lot of camping, and we like areas that don't have a lot of over head lights. We love star watching. We got these to line the campsite with. Lights up the ground perfectly (keeps little visitors away at night). Doesn't take away being able to star watch. Infact just bought more for the deck at the house.Ordered 12 lights so I received a box of 8 and another box of 4. I looked like the larger box had been tested or used as the bubble wrap was not around the lights was under them. Some water spots on lights and the solar panel lenses scuffed due to the lack of protection allowing them to rub together. I contacted seller and they promptly replaced lights and apologized that this slipped by when shipping the product. The lights themselves are nice and all worked well. I liked the warm white color versus the harsh blue/white of many cheaper LEDs, and they told me the battery will still charge if left in the sun even with the switch off. I take my lights in for the winter so I planned to top up the charge occasionally over the winter by setting outside for a day. Because they are sealed, I want to prolong the battery life.I would recommend these, though I personally would never screw them down permanently to anything since as with any of today's non-serviceable products, I know they are never going to last for more than maybe 3-5 years before LEDs or battery starts to fail. Still these are way nicer than the solar landscape lights I had bought at a big box store before where the battery is removable, yet those contacts rust and glass lenses get full of bugs. Those were much more maintenance than these sealed units...Unpacked these, set them out and turned them on, they stay bright all night.Waterproof sealed failed after 18 months.Looks nice on the deck. Lights are bright enough to not need a porch lightWhen I bought my house the previous owner had installed flimsy plastic solar/LED lights around the deck. I pulled it all out during the winter this year because it just kept breaking. These JACKYLED lights have proven to be the perfect replacement. They fit perfectly on the 5/4" by 6" railings and provide sufficient illumination to find my way around. That said, don't expect the screws that are packaged with the lights will be useful. I found them to be much too long to be useful, but had no trouble replacing them with dark 1 1/8" screws. That doesn't really effect my evaluation of the lights, but don't expect these lights to fit well on top of a 4"x 4" post. The screws will all fall outside the 3 3/8" square that such posts are usually sized at. But they work well on top of 6" rails and would work well on the floors of wooden docks. Expect, however, to replace the screws.Great product… Lights stay on ALL NIGHT!!! Far better lights than anything I’ve used in the past at the big box stores…..
