Magnetic Dry Erase Wall Covering! Opti Rite Mag SA means Self Adhesive. Our customers have been asking for a self adhesive, magnetic receptive Opti Rite material for a long time. Working closely with our suppliers we were able to develop an easy to apply magnetic receptive solution that works great on smooth surfaces. This self adhesive material makes an excellent solution for resurfacing old or worn out chalkboards or dry erase boards. Opti-Rite Mag SA has a bright white, super glossy dry erase writing surface that erases clean and doesn't stain. In addition, the adhesive is super strong and reduces bubbling issues.
I was excited for this product to arrive but unfortunately it hasn’t been a great experience. The first one that arrived was defective and was replaced. The second one has not been great either. Both times the film was extremely hard to peel off from the adhesive, first one more so than the second. After putting up the second one, I’ve come to realize the magnetization is extremely weak. I can’t hang up more than 1-2 pieces of paper on a magnetic clip. I’m pretty disappointed, especially since removing the whiteboard will also peel off my paint.
