A highly versatile 2-in-1 surface combining frame and wooden panel! To use it, simply turn the wooden panel over and push hard to release it from the frame (four small nails hold the frame and wood panel together). You can then create your artwork on the wooden panel, and then paint the frame next to it using the colours of your choice (who doesn't love a customised frame!) Although not required, the panel can be coated with gesso. 

To reassemble the wooden panel and frame, simply protect your work surface, turn your artwork onto the protective surface so as not to damage it, and then put the frame back in place. No need to remember exactly where the little nails were! The Baltic birch wood is soft, which means you can simply press hard on the edge of the frame to attach it to the wooden panel (a small hammer could also be useful).
