When ready to change your text, use an ammonia-based or a non-abrasive cleaner. The wet-wipe marker has a reversible tip with a chisel 6mm on one end and a round 2mm on the other. The wet-wipe ink removes easily with water, and is great for writing in activities, appointments, and other notes. When ready to change your message, use a damp cloth or sponge. Add your own! Use high quality liquid chalk markers to bring more color to your calendar. Textured blackboard surface protects against most brands and marker types. Always test new marker brands for staining or issues before use on calendar. Do not use chalk, permanent markers, metallic, or Expo brand markers. Caring for the Cohas Magnetic Backed Calendar 2 Way Markers! One Easy to Remove, One Semi Permanent The Cohas Magnetic Backed Calendar surface is easy to clean and reuse. When using wet-wipe liquid chalk markers, simply wipe with a damp cloth. For waterproof markers, use an ammonia based cleaner. Wet erase markers remove with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals that can scratch the material’s surface. Magic Eraser and other heavy cleaning products will ruin the surface of the Cohas Magnetic Backed Calendars. Do not use heavy pressure when writing on the material. The magnetic backed calendars will stick to any surface that magnets are attracted to. Some new stainless steel refrigerators are nonmagnetic; test surface with any standard magnet, or use our removable Cohas ChalkFlex material for decorating your nonferrous surfaces. This product is not recommended for children to use. Chalkboard & Marker Safety Always be sure to properly prime and store your wet-wipe and waterproof marker. When your magnetic backed flexible calendar and marker kit arrive, the markers will not be primed and the tips will be dry. Begin by shaking your markers well for one minute; as you do, you'll hear a small ball inside the barrels. This is mixing the ink thoroughly, as some separation can occur during storage and transportation. Remove the cap from your markers and hold them vertically, with the tip placed on a scrap piece of material. Push the markers down and hold for no more than 10 seconds. Release the tip to allow it come back out and check for ink. Repeat this process until the ink begins to flow. As needed, re-prime your marker on scrap material.
