I expected the inner drawer dividers to be the width (front-to-back) as they are in the similar storage boxes, which I need for storing pastels. I bought this 3-drawer storage box because of the two drawers with 1" depth to accommodate thicker pastels.Could be a little mode durable. Construction is adequate for most situations. I have been using this to store carving tools.I had been searching for a cabinet for paints tubes, pencils etc here in England for sometime but unfortunately the drawers was always to shallow and would only be good for pencil and pastels.I was very please when I came across this product, the drawers were deep enough for Gouache paint tubes and anything that was deeper than a pencil or pastel! But what also swung it for me was the dividers, in the video it show that you can divide the drawers on the vertical and horizontal, perfect so I thought, I was a little disappointed when the only dividers in the drawers where for the vertical. This wasn’t a deal breaker as the cabinet is well made and perfect for what I need but would have been nice to have the opportunity to divide the drawers on the horizontal too. It’s easy enough to make dividers but would have been nicer if they was included just to save me the time in making them.I bought this to hold paint brushes it’s working great. And looks like it’s stackable. If I had the money I would buy a few more.Boxes allow for paints and some accessorys to be stored out of sight. Makes for a much neater studio.Used for Art supplies - perfectWorks great, looks greatIn many cases you get what you pay for. These aren't cheap but they are sturdy. I have 2 styles and they stack nicely. They look quite nice as well. If I had a complaint, it would be that the drawer dividers definetly aren't straight. They have a rather heafty bow to them, but the still slot in and work basically as intended. I will buy again if I ever need more.
